    Hi there.

My great grandad used to work for Ashbourne Fire Service. One of his old fire engines goes by the registraion of 999 JNU. Is this now in MFSM’s possesion? If so, can you let me know as we have several photographs of it that could be copied up. Do you know much of its history because I can give you that as well.

I would greatly appreciate a reply.

    Danny,
I have several Liverpool F.B. photos. Some are of the “Corinthia / Corinthic” on fire during the Liverpool Blitz. These were taken by Fire Officer who later became Chief of Croydon F.B. I think the large photos are of the Diaper’s fire. There are photos of appliances belonging to other Brigades as well as Liverpool. A large plaque with the crest of the Liverpool Salvage Corps & a framed brass of the Liverpool Airport Fire & Rescue Service.
Are these of any interest to the museum?
    Ken
